What We Believe

GOD 
We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. 

JESUS 
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, was wholly God and wholly man, lived a perfect, sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity, was buried, arose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God. 

CHRIST'S RETURN 
We believe in the Premillennial return of Jesus Christ to the earth. 

HOLY SPIRIT 
We believe that God the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and convicts unbelievers of their need for salvation. He serves as the Comforter who indwells  every born again believer. 

BIBLE 
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired of God by the superintendence of the Holy Spirit.  It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy, the sole authority for life's faith and practice. We are committed to the study, preaching, and teaching of God’s Word. 

MAN 
We believe that man was created in the image of God,  but that through the deception of Eve and the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell so that all men are born in sin and stand in need of salvation. 

SALVATION 
We believe that salvation is a free gift received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. 

ASSURANCE 
We believe that every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ. 

ETERNITY 
We believe that those persons who die in their sins without Christ spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, and those persons who die with their sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in Heaven, surrounded by His presence. 

BAPTISM 
We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of our Lord and is by immersion. It is an outward testimony of the change that Christ has made in the life of the believer and reflects the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, as well as, the hope that we have of future resurrection. 

CHURCH 
We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head. 

PRAYER 
We believe that each believer has direct access to the throne of grace through Christ the Lord
